A ‘P.S.’ to previous Salton Sea post

Wouldn’t ya know it, just days after publishing the previous post about the Salton Sea, i came across some marvelously relevant links, and remembered several images i missed the first time round.


The pier, rustic and very simple, is a great symbol.

The vacant lot? … well, it’s been many years, but there’s a 50/50 chance it could still be had for a song.


The New York Times sunday magazine had an excellent collection of stories recently, well worth your time.

My rule of thumb is simple – if the worst that can happen happens, can you deal with the result?
